Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in West Los Angeles. This role will focus on supporting the accounting department by managing invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes in a dynamic entertainment industry setting. As a contract to permanent position, this opportunity offers the potential for long-term growth and development within the organization.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.

- Follow up on outstanding invoices and handle collections to ensure timely payments.

- Reconcile high-volume financial records and resolve discrepancies efficiently.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including agents and production companies.

- Handle billing functions and ensure compliance with company policies.

- Manage cash applications and monitor cash activity to maintain financial integrity.

- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries promptly.

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure smooth operations.

- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to accounts receivable.

- Assist with contract-related tasks and ensure proper execution of terms.

Requirements - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

- Proven ability to handle high-volume transactions and reconcile financial records.

- Strong conversational and follow-up skills to manage client relationships effectively.

- Experience in the entertainment industry or large production companies is preferred.

- Familiarity with payroll, tax regulations, and contract management.

- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
