AP Specialist

Vaco Los Angeles is partnering with an innovative client who is currently looking for a motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their fast growing team. Seeking a driven and experienced specialist, the role will be primarily assisting with maintaining the full cycle of the accounts receivable process to assist with their daily operations.

• Process and track invoices in a timely manner using 3-way matching
• Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices
• Work with internal and external customers regarding payments and account statuses
• Accountable for the research and resolving of any discrepancies
• Assist in month-end reconciliations and accruals
• Help with vendor setup and vendor management
• Ensure compliance with company policies
• Assist with preparing annual 1099 reporting

• 3+ years accounts payable experience
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
• 3-way matching experience
• Experience with Net Suite
• Strong Excel skills (pivots tables and V look ups)
• Strong communication skills
• Vendor maintenance experience
