Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare routine journal entries to support the monthly closing cycle and ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and investigate any unusual variances.
- Match and reconcile bank activity to monthly bank statements to maintain up-to-date records.
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports, including matching documents to purchase orders.
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
- Proactive work style with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a structured accounting environment with defined deadlines.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Prior experience using ERP or financial systems, with knowledge of Net Suite.
- Solid understanding of basic reconciliations and financial documentation workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
