Senior Tax Accountant - Cpa Firm

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team, a well-established CPA FIRM in Brentwood (Los Angeles, CA). Great opportunity to work in a full-service public accounting firm with over 35 years’ experience in providing accounting and tax preparation services.

• Preparation and Review of Individual, Partnership, Corporate, Non-profit and Trust Tax Returns
• Periodic tax research
• Tax audit representation
• Tax planning and projections

• Strong current tax preparation and review experience (minimum of 4 years in a general public accounting/CPA Firm)

• Master’s in Business Taxation - preferred but not required
• CPA License - preferred but not required

• Fundamental knowledge of tax principles
• Strong technical tax preparation skills (LACERTE software)
• Detail and deadline driven
• Self-starter and self-motivated individual with exceptional work ethic
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Tax Audit is a plus
• Ability to work with staff members of diverse accounting background
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
• Excellent computer skills
