The General Accountant is responsible for executing general accounting activities including bank payments, tax declaration input, cost accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. The role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all assigned accounting tasks.

  • Prepare and process bank payment transactions in accordance with internal procedures and approval workflows.
  • Monitor daily bank balances and reconcile bank accounts with the accounting system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of all banking transactions.
  • Input and prepare tax declaration data such as VAT, CIT, PIT, and related statutory reports.
  • Support the preparation and submission of tax reports to authorities.
  • Provide documentation and support for tax audits and inspections.
  • Record and review expenses to ensure proper classification and cost allocation.
  • Validate accounting entries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Identify unusual transactions and coordinate correction before month-end closing.
  • Assist in completing month-end and year-end closing activities according to internal checklists.
  • Reconcile key general ledger accounts and ensure accurate balances.
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and management reports as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of experience in General Accounting or a similar role.
  • Experience with SAP is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, principles, and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the ability to process and analyze large datasets.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other departments.
