The Opportunity...

Our LA office is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level role, you'll play a key part in keeping our financial operations running smoothly, from maintaining records and reports to supporting monthly close and account reconciliations. We're looking for someone who's detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow their accounting career within a company that's expanding fast and values its people every step of the way.

How You'll Contribute...

* Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts

* Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including but not limited to: account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and researching discrepancies

* Process and enter monthly credit card statements

* Enter accounts receivable billable numbers based on internal reports

* Match and organize received bills to internal reports

* Process received bills for payment

* Manage a weekly check run from processing to mailing

* Maintain and organize all vendor files

* Receive payments and process deposits

* Contact and collect delinquent accounts

* Research, track and resolve any accounting issues

* Compile daily performance data and prepare a variety of reports

* Maintain and organize accounting files and agreements

* Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

* Assist Controller and Account Manager with annual financial audit

* Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team

What We're Looking For...

* 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

* Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively

* Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

* Experience using accounting software such as Flo Qast and Intacct (or similar systems)
