D3 Search is seeking a Snr. Accountant on behalf of a highly respected CA-based law practice with a long-standing headquartered office located in downtown Los Angeles, CA (90071).

Position Title:

Snr. Accountant

• Assist with all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Payroll processes.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with the preparation of daily cash flow reports for management.
• Assist in resolving accounting issues for the accounting, billing and electronic billing departments and client accounts.
• Work with the firm’s CPA in complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements, tax filings, gathering and preparing of documents for the firm's annual tax reports and K 1's.
• Assist with preparation of contract attorney schedules.
• Coordinate the preparation of corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.
• Assist with quarterly and monthly special reports and spreadsheets per the request of the Controller or CFO.
• Monitor all billings and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Additional ad hoc reporting duties as necessary.

• 5+ years relevant LAW FIRM/LEGAL SERVICES accounting experience is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Payroll processes.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ability to prepare daily cash flow reports and assist with regulatory and financial reporting.
• Ability to coordinate with firm CPA for tax filings and annual tax documents.

Starting salary is 135K+/- (DOE/DOQ) plus a comprehensive & robust benefits package, 401K, paid parking onsite, yearly reviews, lucrative annual bonuses, etc.
