Vice President, Human Resources Director

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time (average 30 hours per week) Media Accounting Coordinator to support the financial operations of commercial productions. You will work closely with the Controller and Producer to manage day-to-day expenses, handle vendor payments, reconcile petty cash, and ensure accurate tracking of production costs. This is a great role for someone looking to grow within the world of production finance in advertising and branded content.

Salary: $25/HR (with benefits)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable: code, and track invoices and payments.
  • Process and reconcile petty cash, credit card charges, and purchase orders.
  • Organize and maintain accounting files (physical and digital) for each job.
  • Work with production teams to gather, verify, and input cost documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors and crew to collect W-9s & invoices, payroll onboarding & timecards, and resolve payment issues.
  • Support job wrap processes including reconciliations, final cost reports, and file deliveries.
  • Maintain cost trackers and expense reports throughout the life of the production.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, preferably in commercial or short-form production.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Pro Hire and Pro Books (Revolution Payroll) would be awesome.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced deadlines.
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with crew, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving systems and procedures.
