Overview
Children's Ministry Pastor Scope PBCC - Cupertino. Shepherd a children’s ministry comprised of volunteers and parents focused on leading and helping the spiritual development of children. This includes building relationships, planning events, providing pastoral care, and equipping and training children, parents, and volunteers, all while reflecting PBCC’s statement of faith and family values (see above). As part of the pastoral team, the Children’s Ministry Pastor will actively contribute to and support PBCC’s broader vision, working closely with pastors and elders in a spirit of co-laboring to prepare the church family for ministry and formation.
In all aspects of this role, the pastor must be able to function well as “one among others” in style of leadership. Since PBCC has no senior pastor, the candidate must possess an unwavering commitment to teamwork, self-management, and self-motivation. These qualities must be exercised both in accountability to the elders and in close partnership with the pastoral team, demonstrating servant leadership, edifying communication, mutual respect, commitment, and support as co-laborers in the shared ministry God has given at PBCC.
