The successful candidate will perform moderate to highly complex inspections for various components and assemblies, develop inspection processes and strategies, execute routine quality instructions and safety procedures, and select and use appropriate equipment.
A solid foundation in dimensional inspection within a manufacturing and production environment is key to success. Inspection operations include surface plate equipment, surface finish systems, optical measurement systems, physical properties testing equipment, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other high-accuracy metrology equipment. The selected candidate will support assigned projects and related manufacturing and production activities, and continuously improve associated processes and capabilities.
