CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking two Nuclear Operations Professionals (NOP 3/4) to support the Conduct of Operations and Senior Supervisory Watch (SSW) teams under the WMS-4 group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. These roles are essential to advancing ALDWP’s integrated Conduct of Operations program, ensuring safety, compliance, and readiness for some of the most complex national security missions in the country.
This is a high-impact opportunity for experienced professionals who bring deep nuclear operations knowledge, a commitment to safety, and a passion for mentorship, oversight, and process excellence. Roles will support 24/7 operations and readiness initiatives for new or restarted nuclear activities.
Key Responsibilities:Serve as mentor, coach, and subject matter expert on Conduct of Operations (Con Ops) principles across ALDWP organizations.
Provide project oversight and technical support for readiness initiatives, including Management Self-Assessments (MSAs).
Support the Senior Supervisory Watch program with safety oversight and operational performance assurance.
Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Con Ops policies, procedures, and standing orders.
Identify and mitigate operational risks, track issues, and propose corrective actions.
Interface with line management, technical teams, and assessment groups to align project execution with Laboratory safety, security, and mission standards.
Participate in shift coverage as needed, supporting 24/7 mission readiness and operational tempo.
Minimum Requirements (NOP3):
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience in nuclear operations oversight, including readiness preparation, operational mentoring, or technical procedure development.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Experience interfacing with internal/external oversight organizations and contributing to a high-reliability safety culture.
Additional Requirements (NOP4):
Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination.
Recognized subject matter expertise in Conduct of Operations and Integrated Safety Management (ISM).
Proven ability to lead tactical planning and execution of large, complex operational initiatives in nuclear environments.
Extensive background in coaching, mentoring, and leading diverse teams through operational improvements and readiness assessments.
Preferred QualificationsActive DOE Q Clearance.
Experience supporting ALDWP or similar high-consequence nuclear operations environments.
Familiarity with P315 Conduct of Operations Manual and related readiness programs.
Prior appointment as a Senior Supervisory Watch or readiness team leader highly desirable.
Work ConditionsEmployees must be physically capable of performing duties in nuclear facilities and compliant with PPE and access requirements.
