What You Will Do

The Information Science and Technology Institute is seeking recent graduates looking for a challenging and fun postgraduate internship at the post-baccalaureate level. As a post-bachelor student you will be assigned a mentor, an in-depth, hands‑on technical project, and the opportunity to share and present your progress and final outcomes with colleagues.
The projects will vary depending on your skills, interests, and Los Alamos National Laboratory’s current needs.
ISTI is a Laboratory‑wide resource to enable and implement new ideas in information science and technology (IS&T) at the Lab. ISTI serves to foster a world‑class, area‑focused, results‑oriented IS&T community that delivers cutting‑edge, mission‑oriented science research. You will work closely with ISTI to facilitate an area of interest that needs a concentrated effort to demonstrate innovative ways to master complex problems in areas including, but not limited to:
