Operations Manager
What You Will Do
You will report to the CWF Rad Liquid Waste Facilities Operations Manager and supervise day‑to‑day operations of the facility wastewater system. Your responsibilities include managing all operational activities, ensuring safety, security and regulatory compliance, investigating abnormal events, and communicating operational policies to employees and partner organizations.
What You Need- Full knowledge of operational management systems, maintenance, safety and configuration control.
- Experience acting as Person‑in‑Charge during abnormal or emergent events.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, identifying alternative solutions and determining actions for operational issues.
- Demonstrated management, supervision and direction of assigned teams.
- Full understanding of P101‑3 lock‑out/tag‑out policies and the DOE Conduct of Operations framework.
- Familiarity with training and qualification requirements.
- Knowledge of safe operation of industrial facility and process equipment (microfiltration, reverse osmosis, evaporation, ion exchange).
- Advanced knowledge of technical work documents in accordance with the DOE writer’s guide.
- Expert knowledge of the attributes of a sound Conduct of Operations program.
- Advanced knowledge of P315 and the attributes of a sound Conduct of Operations program.
- Advanced knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
- Advanced knowledge of readiness and start‑up of facility processing equipment.
This position may require 24/7 coverage, including shift and weekend schedules. Employees may be eligible for shift differential pay.

Position CommitmentRegular appointment employees must serve a continuous period of one (1) year.
