The Opportunity:

Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory.

T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers.

T2S is adding a Groundwater Monitoring Team Lead to ensure all activities and operations are performed safely and deliberately; maintain required safety, security, and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety and security an integral part of every task, including stopping work if conditions are unsafe or compromise sample quality or security.

The Groundwater Monitoring Team Lead serves as the first-line supervisor responsible for coordinating personnel, resources, and materials to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively, while overseeing daily operations and staffing for the Environmental Remediation Water Program.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for daily implementation of large‑scale groundwater monitoring projects, including waste/purge water management and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinates staffing, priority setting, scheduling, and delegation of tasks.
  • Reviews and verifies task completion and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and fire codes; initiates corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinates communications and scheduling between departments to ensure no adverse impacts to project schedule, scope, or budget.
  • Manages staff availability and coverage during operational hours.
  • Coordinates procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Provides input into long‑range budget planning and program forecasts.
  • Identifies and resolves operational issues impacting project execution.
  • Ensures adherence to required safety and quality programs.
  • Interfaces with T2S leadership and N3B operations personnel regarding field logistics and execution.
  • Conducts activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursues continuous professional development and maintains a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Works in a safe manner at all times and reports all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform strategic and technical tasks effectively and interpret organizational requirements to develop appropriate implementation plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence operational success and productivity with independent judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train, lead, and mentor junior team members.
