Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer 4 opportunity in Los Alamos, NM
, to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Per Diem Available For Those Who Qualify.

Citizenship: United States Citizenship is required.

Work Location: On-Site, TA-55, occasional driving between the site and town may be required.

Schedule: 4/10s with potential for other schedules. Shift work options available for field engineers. Six-week rotations for weekends/nights.

Clearance: Q-clearance or the ability to obtain.

Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project. Plans and directs engineering assignments on one or more projects. Has technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Specialized courses in relevant general engineering, architectural design or an appropriate engineering discipline.
• 12 or more years of progressive work experience, including supervision, preferably in project design engineering; may include other relevant types of engineering including startup, field engineering or plant operation in large industrial plants, utilities, process plants or engineering/construction firms.
• Software:
  Fluent in Microsoft 365 or office-based products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, and ability to learn internal LANL tools.
• Ability to work with all levels of project support and leadership.

• Vast electrical background
• Experience with glovebox systems
• Familiarity with manufacturing
• NQA-1 experience
• Construction experience
• Experience with facility-based mechanical systems
• DoD and Navy, DoE, Pharma, Regulatory, Oil/Gas/Commercial buildings experience
