CEIS | Government is hiring Project Engineers across multiple levels (PE2-PE4) to support mission-critical engineering design and operations efforts at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). These roles involve technical leadership, multi-discipline coordination, and project execution across LANL's nuclear infrastructure programs. Engineers will contribute to project delivery through technical planning, design integration, field support, and collaboration with construction, operations, and regulatory teams.
At the PE4 level, the engineer may take on supervisory responsibilities over engineering tasks and cross-functional coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to grow their impact within the national security space, whether stepping into design ownership roles or driving full-scope engineering supervision on high-risk infrastructure projects.

- Interface with field engineers, designers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Perform calculations, technical analyses, and reviews in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in project scoping, design reviews, constructability assessments, and field walkdowns.
- At PE4 level, supervise engineering activities across disciplines and support junior engineer development.
Required Qualifications (All Levels)
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Eligible for a DOE Q clearance (Active preferred).
- Familiarity with engineering design in industrial, utilities, DOE, or nuclear environments.
