Overview

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt of goods, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized inventory records. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that inventory is accurately accounted for and readily available.

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Record and document all received goods in the inventory management system.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of received items in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient handling and storage of inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or inventory management role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
