Southern Home Services is looking for a skilled commercial HVAC technician to join our team. This role involves installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems in commercial settings.

We seek a dedicated professional who excels in troubleshooting and delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.

• Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems including air handling units, ductwork, vents and condensation drainage systems.
• Perform diagnostics and service work to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical and operational issues.
• Provide professional HVAC solutions tailored to customer needs and recommend improvements for performance and energy efficiency.
• Communicate with customers to address and resolve issues, ensuring a positive service experience.
• Complete documentation (invoices, warranty forms, time sheets) for each service call.
• Maintain tools, parts and the service vehicle in a clean, organized, operational state.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
• Stay informed about HVAC technologies, industry trends and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on HVAC service or installation experience.
• HVAC commercial experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, work in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for HVAC work.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience and a clean record.
• Ability to pass periodic drug tests and background checks.

• Lifting 50‑100 lbs, climbing ladders, accessing attics, driving, operating hand tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear both in person and by telephone.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions.
