Hours:

• Maintain daily operations of the concrete yard, ensuring equipment, materials, and work areas are clean, stocked, and in safe working condition.
• Assist in cleaning plant areas, break room, and bathroom.
• Maintain yard appearance, including cutting overgrown areas and removing litter throughout the property.
• Assist with bin area maintenance.
• Provide assistance to mechanics with shop cleaning or other tasks when available.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch and supervisors regarding material needs and stocking of inventory.
• Perform greasings and minor maintenance on plant and plant equipment; monitor and maintain secondary containments weekly, or more often during heavy rain.
• Safely operate loader, tow motor, broom tractor, and water truck.

• Prior experience in a yard, plant, or construction environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (tow motor, water truck, broom tractor) safely; CDL preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for greasing, fluid checks, and routine maintenance.
• Reliable communication skills and ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and assist across multiple departments.
• Valid driver’s license with approval from our insurance provider to drive company vehicles.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
