Base pay range$42,500.00/yr - $48,000.00/yr

Do you have a passion for helping at-risk children right when and where they need it most…in their schools, homes, and neighborhoods? Beech Brook, one of Northeast Ohio’s premier mental health agencies, is hiring Clinical Behavioral Specialist in our School-Based Behavioral Health Program that reinforces team collaboration. This position will provide community-based intervention to at-risk youth who have emotional, psychological, behavioral and/or trauma-based issues.

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related fields
- High School Diploma with 3 years of experience working with children/youth
- Provide education and training specific to the youth's assessed needs, abilities, and readiness to learn.
- Provide crisis management.
- Provide services to families in their home/community as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate the treatment plan and ongoing assessment & symptom monitoring.
- Use effective methods to establish parent communication and involve family in intervention as appropriate.
- Complete daily documentation requirements.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and comfortable in home/community settings.
- Ability to work with electronic medical records.
- Experience working with diverse populations with complex needs, including high risk clients.
- Must value diversity and inclusion.
- Passion for working with families in the school/community.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the family.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver s license with no more than 5 points.
