Wireless RF Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Wireless RF Engineer with strong commissioning expertise to join our growing team. This is a travel-intensive position
, requiring frequent travel to customer sites nationwide (and potentially internationally) to support installation, integration, testing, and optimization of wireless systems.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in RF system commissioning, troubleshooting, validation testing, and working in live production environments. This role requires strong technical skills, independence in the field, and the ability to interface directly with clients and project stakeholders.

• Commission and integrate wireless RF systems including DAS, small cells, in-building wireless, public safety systems, and carrier equipment
• Perform on-site system validation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Conduct RF sweeps, PIM testing, fiber testing, and system performance verification
• Optimize RF performance to meet design specifications and carrier requirements
• Interpret RF design documentation, iBwave designs, and construction drawings
• Utilize tools such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, PIM analyzers, OTDR, and power meters
• Document commissioning activities and generate detailed closeout reports
• Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and carrier representatives
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site-specific protocols
• Provide technical support during system turn‑up and client acceptance testing

• 3+ years of experience in wireless RF engineering or RF commissioning
• Hands‑on experience with DAS, small cell, or in-building wireless systems
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals (link budgets, propagation, interference mitigation)
• Experience with RF test equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret iBwave designs and RF system schematics
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
  
  Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
