This is a part time, on-site position located in Longwood, FL, for an Assistant Preschool Teacher. The role involves supporting lead teachers in facilitating lesson planning and implementing curriculum designed for young learners. Daily tasks include assisting with classroom activities, supervising children to ensure a safe learning environment, promoting constructive communication and socialization, and guiding children through early childhood educational milestones.

You will play a key role in fostering a nurturing and engaging atmosphere that encourages the development of foundational skills in young children.

• Experience with following lesson plans and Curriculum Development for preschool-aged children
• Knowledge and skills in Early Childhood Education practices
• Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
• Understanding of foundational concepts for teaching Kindergarten-level material
• Ability to collaborate with a teaching team and maintain a positive learning environment
• Previous experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education
• 40 hours mandated state training completed or in the process of completion.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in Early Childhood Education are a plus
