Responsibilities:
- Basic cleaning of equipment, maintains a job site area free of debris and dirt.
- Readies or puts away tools as assigned.
- Effectively follows directions, and is eager to learn new skills for advancement.
- Uses equipment and tools to prepare job site (rake, shovel, leaf blower, weed trimmer, ).
- Assist with shoveling and raking gravel and dirt, grass and weed removal, and pressure washing.
- Load or unload job materials.
- Report any issues to supervisor or higher-level employees.
- Set/build sports equipment such as basketball goals, tennis posts, etc.
- Assist in grading job sites.
- The most important responsibility is for the individual to CARE about the work they put out.
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
- Mechanically inclined, looking ahead to see what may be next is a necessary skill set.
- Attentive to the workers and equipment around them.
- Operator of roller and bobcat
- 2D Laser Experience preferred, but not required.
Education:
- One year of bobcat operator experience required.
- Labor experience preferred in the construction industry.
- Site work experience preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Job training for this position is provided by the field foreman/supervisor.
- Pipe crew experience preferred, but not required.
- Prolonged periods standing, walking, bending, stretching, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in outdoor weather conditions.
