Key ResponsibilitiesPlans and supervises trade activities on Special Projects and for startup and check out needs. Selects foremen, assigns manpower and oversees fieldwork to include: means and methods, material purchases, equipment rental needs, safety, quality and production.
Assists PMs with site walks, scope and price development for Owner Direct.
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with Owner Direct.
Assists PMs and foremen with managing subcontractors on assigned projects.
Tracks and manages start up/check out needs on all construction projects. Assists PMs with identifying, scheduling and managing critical startup resources and requirements (i.e. factory startup ,CES technicians, subcontractors, pre-functional and other start up documentation).
Collaborates with Plumbing, Piping and Sheet Metal Trade Managers to manage construction field personnel.
Forecast short and long-term labor requirements on assigned projects.
Tracks and manages construction warranty needs on assigned projects.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Special projects foremen, superintendents and start up technicians.
10+ years' mechanical experience in technical and supervisory roles.
Valid Florida Driver's License & insurable under company policy.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with foremen, GCs, and other trades.
Comfortable training or supporting apprentices.
OSHA 30 Certification.
First aid.
CPR Current Certification.
Indoor/outdoor construction sites across Florida.
Heat, cold, heights, and noisy environments.
Occasional overtime or weekend work.
Must wear required PPE.
