Position SummaryThe Longview Work Opportunity Center Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily operations, community engagement, and resource management at the Longview Work Opportunity Center. This role ensures alignment across Workforce Development programs, fosters strong community partnerships, and promotes Goodwill’s mission through effective outreach and marketing.
Hourly Rate$24.11 - $26.20 per hour
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLongview Work Opportunity Center (LWOC) Coordinator
Program And Community Engagement- Serves as the lead for all LWOC related community engagement to ensure alignment across the Southwest Washington region and Goodwill programs.
- Supports effective community engagement for LWOC by researching and participating in regional leadership activities, events and group meetings.
- Regularly presents and hosts community tours while demonstrating knowledge about Goodwill’s Workforce Development programs and learning platforms, and can effectively describe/recommend programs to potential students, community organizations, and employer partners.
- Direct assigned staff of interns, peer advisors, and/or student workers regarding work plan responsibilities.
- Coordinates LWOC’s marketing and communications needs, including management of the phone system, online presence, and written and electronic resource materials. Ensures information is current, identifies needed materials, and collaborates with the agency marketing/communications team.
- Identifies appropriate tools and resources for the Resource Room within LWOC - supporting the planning and facilitation of front-end Career Hub workshops, and provides general student support as needed.
- Maintains accurate, detailed records, reports, and case notes in Goodwill program databases (Salesforce and Case worthy); oversees the annual archiving of documents for LWOC.
- Performs all building opening and closing procedures and responsibilities.
- Serves as the security "captain" for the location, works in cooperation with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets from internal and external theft.
- Ensure all safety and loss prevention audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level.
- Ensures security and safety systems are operating properly, such as door locks and alarms; submits requests for maintenance.
- Coordinates with IT Department to ensure LWOC’s technology systems are operable.
- Manages supplies and inventory for LWOC.
- Maintain all related expenses to budget for monthly and annually reports and coordinate with each program related to contributing to overall operations costs.
