Delivery Driver ; non CDL

Flo Works, a privately held company located in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Delivery Driver I (non CDL) to join our dynamic team.

• Perform routine vehicle and supply inspections to ensure road safety.
• Plan routes to and from customer sites, adjusting for traffic and construction.
• Ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
• Deliver merchandise to customers and contact customers if absent.
• Load truck with daily merchandise and unload at customer sites.
• Pull orders to match manifests.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance to resolve customer issues; tasks include loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to/from designated storage areas; stack or pile materials such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
• Install protective devices (bracing, padding, strapping) to prevent shifting or damage to transported items.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock.
• Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid driver's license.
• HS Diploma or GED required. 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment.
• Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction; seeks advice from supervisor.
• Deviations from the norm are cleared by supervisor.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Use hand and finger dexterity; occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Talk or hear; utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard.
• Occasionally lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
• Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions; loud noise.

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required. The work area may have temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness.
