Hiring for Environmental Technician -- Longview Area

As a USFS Environmental Technician you would be working on a crew that is responsible for projects similar to the ones below:

• Soils - Sampling, Excavation, Transportation and Disposal
• Soil Bioremediation, In-situ Remediation
• Spill - Sampling, Cleanup/Prevention
• Tank Decontamination, Removal and Disposal

• Decontamination and demolition of manufacturing plants, tanks, and structures
• Cleaning of impacted surfaces with non-hazardous, biodegradable degreasing agents

• Full service environmental management specializing in the areas of NORM
• Services for Bulk Chemical and Fuel Terminals, Industrial Process Tanks, Sump, Pits, Trenches, Compressors, Oil Water Separators

• Trained personnel: RSO (Radiation Safety Officer), Cleaning technician
• Equipment:
  Berm containment, waste barrels, heated pressure washers
• Documentation of survey of tools and waste management

• Drilling Mud - Delivery and Transfer
• Fresh and Brine Water Delivery Wet and Dry Drilling Cuttings
• Solids Hauling and Disposal

Experience sand blasting and painting is a plus, please mention when applying.

Must possess a valid driver's license. Increased rate of pay for CDL Operators.

We will perform background checks.

We are a drug free environment and a drug test is part of the job.

Must be willing to work in Confined Spaces.

Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus: track hoe, back hoe, dozer, mini excavator, skid steer.

Familiarity with NORM is a plus. Increased rate of pay for Radiation Safety Officers.

Familiarity with vacuum trucks, pressure washers, hydro blasters is a plus.

Most projects are "out of town" and require overnight stays at motels/hotels.

Pay Rate Is Commensurate With Skills, Experience, And Certifications.

While overtime is typical, it is not promised or guaranteed.

Completion of high school or GED is a plus but not mandatory.
