Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position manages the store during the Store Manager’s absence or opposing shifts and leads the store team to service customers. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom, ensuring team execution on programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Coordinate staffing for the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Set team member goals, provide feedback, coach/mentor, and ensure training completion.
• Assist in hiring: recruiting, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating on selection.
• Ensure telephone service meets company policy.
• Process buy‑online/ship‑to‑store, hub transfers, and DC add orders, notifying customers when shipments arrive.
• Manage outside purchase orders via the ledger, fulfilling special orders efficiently.
• Handle retail returns/exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise properly.
• Invoice all merchandise, core charges, and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate image maker and merchandising tasks.
• Enforce compliance with company policies: work schedule, approvals for deviations, clock‑in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day‑end procedures, money/deposit verification, bank deposits, security operations, and vehicle protocols.
• Maintain store building, parking lot, signage, lighting, hardware, test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.
• Desired:
  Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
