Cashiers, Sales & Greenhouse Associates

Ellis Home & Garden in Longview, TX is a family‑owned, family‑operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family‑oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment. We are hiring Cashiers, Sales Associates and Greenhouse Associates to help operate our store on a day‑to‑day basis.

Cashiers: greet customers, process transactions accurately, answer phone calls, and perform other assigned duties.

Sales Associates: help customers on the sales floor, stock and price merchandise, and perform other assigned duties.

Greenhouse Associates: tend to plants and flowers, unload delivery trucks, assist customers with purchases, clean, stock shelves, and perform other assigned duties. Experience with plants and greenhouse knowledge is preferred.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly (Greenhouse positions)
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
• Computer proficiency required
• Retail point‑of‑sale experience preferred
• Cash handling experience (Cashier position)
• Plant knowledge preferred, but not required (we will train you!)
• Available nights and weekends
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Pay starting $10.00 per hour.
