Job Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The role requires knowledge of each product area of the store, adherence to company policies and procedures, and promotion of sales and promotions. The Associate serves as an ambassador of the brand, creating a unique customer experience that helps acquire and retain long‑term customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide extraordinary customer service by helping customers as they enter the store and assisting multiple customers during peak periods.
  • Promote and sell the organization’s merchandise and services.
  • Set and consistently meet sales goals, track overall sales, and pursue opportunities to improve selling skills.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards as outlined in the operations policy manual, personnel policy manual, visual manual, customer service manual, and other memos.
  • Assist with daily store operations, including completing work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
  • Present merchandise to customers according to product knowledge guidelines.
  • Achieve and/or exceed sales targets and goals.
  • Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
  • Attend all staff meetings and technology clinics.
  • Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring accurate internal controls and reporting potential fraud risks.
Qualifications
  • 0–2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Self‑starter with initiative to take on tasks without being asked.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
  • Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
