Responsibilities
  • Deliver renal replacement therapy and nursing care to patients with renal conditions.
  • Perform patient assessments and dialysis procedures, equipment maintenance, and provide education to patients and clinical staff.
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
  • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
  • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Perform timely and accurate quality indicator (QI) assessments.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in dialysis-related clinical skills and equipment operation.
  • Exhibit effective communication and patient education skills.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal and communication skills and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain attention to detail in clinical documentation.

What We're Looking For

This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
  • At least 2 years of current experience in dialysis or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.
  • ASLS certification preferred.
