About Us:

We are seeking a Manual Machinist Inspector to support lathe operations and inspection activities in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on manual horizontal lathe work, precise measurement, and routine part inspection to ensure components meet internal quality and ISO standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for a detail-oriented machinist with strong manual machining fundamentals and strong inspection discipline.

• Key Responsibilities
• Perform manual lathe work using horizontal engine lathes
• Measure parts accurately using precision tools including dial and vernier calipers; OD and s; dial bore gauges; tape measures and related measurement tools
• Inspect materials and parts for defects, wear, and conformance to specifications
• Properly mark parts, take photos, and complete documentation using an iPad
• Record sizing data and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with company and ISO quality standards
• Safely lift, adjust, tighten, and secure heavy objects as required
• Operate in accordance with safety and quality procedures at all times

• 4+ years of manual machining experience preferred (or related machine trades technical training)
• Basic mechanical knowledge required
• Strong ability to use precision measuring tools to take accurate measurements
