Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Operations Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about construction, project management, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex operations, overseeing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. With a focus on compliance and operational systems, this role is integral to maintaining the smooth running and success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day‑to‑day construction operations and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Develop and manage operational systems, processes, and policies to improve operational efficiency.

Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, forecasting future costs, and working with senior leadership to set budget goals.

Ensure all operations comply with legal and company standards, including health and safety regulations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and increase productivity.

Develop and manage a master calendar for all projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and resources are allocated appropriately.

Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure operational goals are met.

Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in operations management in the construction industry.

Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting.

Strong knowledge of operational systems and processes in the construction industry.

Demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiency.

Strong project management skills, including experience in managing complex projects and deadlines.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
