* Job Summary:
The primary function of the Project Coordinator is to assist in the planning, executing, & finalizing projects. Helping to coordinate the efforts of team members, vendors, and functional managers to deliver projects according to plan is essential.
** Essential Responsibilities/Activities
*** Assist in the definition and requirements of project scope with project sponsor as well as stakeholders.
* Assist in setting project schedule timelines, and milestones with functional managers and team.
* Follow development of projects with quality standards & meeting deadlines budget.
* Keep open and effective communication with team members and management throughout the life cycle of project in a timely manner.
* Continually set and communicate project expectations with team members.
* Set up and facilitate project meetings.
* Help to identify appropriate resources needed for the completion of project.
* Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and help devise contingency plans.
* Develop and deliver meeting summaries, status reports, and presentations.
* Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of project and business goals.
* Conduct project lessons learned and create recommendations and reports in order to identify successful project elements.

*** Solid understanding of Project Methodologies
* Experience in leading successful projects
* Must have excellent soft skills in leadership and communication
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Effective communicator with all levels (team members to senior management)
* Must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
*
* Minimum Requirements:
*** Bachelors degree in IT-related field
* 3-5 years experience helping lead projects
* Familiar with Project Management software preferred
* Good familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
* PM certification is a plus
*
* Essential Physical Functions:
*** Sitting for prolonged periods
* Lift up to 50 lbs.
