Service Coordinator

Location: Onsite in Longview, TX

We are searching for a highly organized, customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our Valve Services team at the Longview location. This role supports critical mechanical repair projects by coordinating quotes, sourcing parts, tracking orders, communicating with customers, and ensuring smooth workflow between technicians, vendors, and internal teams.

You will play a key role in keeping repair operations running efficiently—from receiving quote requests to final completion. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and customer support.

• Receive repair or service quote requests and research parts availability, pricing, and sourcing options.

• Work directly with technicians to understand repair requirements and build accurate service estimates.

• Order, track, and manage all parts required for repair projects, ensuring on-time availability.

• Verify pricing accuracy and maintain cost alignment throughout the repair lifecycle.

• Communicate with customers about quotes, pricing variances, timelines, and job status—sometimes navigating challenging conversations with professionalism.

• Coordinate repair scheduling and ensure efficient workflow between shop technicians and customers.

• Prepare accurate invoices and ensure required documentation is completed and filed.

• Maintain digital and physical records for all service orders.

• Serve as backup for counter sales when needed.

• Assist with light accounting tasks related to repair jobs and parts costs.

Required:

• Experience in customer service, inside sales, service coordination, or order management—preferably in a technical or industrial environment.

• Ability to read, understand, and discuss mechanical components (valves, instrumentation, actuators, industrial parts).

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.

• Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively.

• Proficiency with computers; SAP or similar ERP experience strongly preferred.

• Drive to continue learning and improving processes.

Preferred:

• Experience in valve repair services, industrial equipment, or manufacturing environments.

• Basic understanding of supply chain, logistics, and accounting principles.

• Seasonal overtime available, particularly during spring and fall (typically longer days rather than weekend-heavy).
