Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation Location

Texas

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days with a shift from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Required to float with no call requirements.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist in the Inpatient Rehabilitation setting, you will be responsible for examining patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic techniques to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. You will also have the opportunity to create wellness-oriented programs to help patients achieve long-term health benefits.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care to patients in various healthcare settings.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
  • Implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient outcomes.
  • Educating patients on prevention and management of their conditions.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Doctorate degree from an accredited program.
  • Current TX licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) certification.
  • 1 year of inpatient rehabilitation experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Physical Therapy.
  • Experience with EMR Medhost is preferred.
