Project Superintendent – Commercial Construction

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Project Superintendent in the field of Commercial Construction. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading projects from inception to completion, and who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including scheduling, interpreting blueprints, managing industrial processes, and leading teams.

This role requires a deep understanding of construction methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate and manage all on‑site construction activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and equipment usage.
• Read, interpret, and implement blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and quality.
• Lead and manage a team of subcontractors and workers, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant job site, ensuring all safety protocols and regulations are adhered to.
• Regularly inspect project sites to monitor progress, enforce safety standards, and resolve any issues or delays.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or queries.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the clients' standards and expectations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Superintendent or similar role in the commercial construction industry.
• Proven experience in scheduling, blueprint interpretation, industrial processes, and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing subcontractors.
• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and a results‑driven approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including project management tools and CAD software.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certifications in OSHA safety training, first aid, and CPR are a plus.
