Position TitleRéseaux / Network Expert - Bilingue
Essential Job Functions- Diriger et coordonner la maintenance du matériel et des systèmes réseau complexes; étudie et résout les questions complexes de réseau et de matériel d’importance; effectue des recherches, des analyses, des isolats et des résolutions d’erreurs; évalue et évalue les systèmes actuels et futurs.
- Fournit un soutien technique et des conseils sur les questions de conception de réseau.
- Fournit la résolution de problèmes complexes au personnel moins expérimenté.
- Conçoit des routines ou des scripts d’essai appropriés; peut effectuer des essais plus complexes pour satisfaire aux exigences spécifiées.
- Conçoit, implémente et met à jour des systèmes LAN, WAN ou vocaux plus complexes conformément aux exigences spécifiées.
- Analyser la documentation des réseaux de données, de voix ou de vidéo et aider à communiquer à la direction au sujet de l’état opérationnel actuel des réseaux.
- Détermine les méthodes et les procédures pour les nouvelles technologies de données, de voix ou de vidéo afin d’assurer le rendement; détermine l’approche pour le client, en fonction de l’évaluation des besoins des clients.
- Gérer les attentes des clients et équilibrer les besoins de l’organisation et du client pour assurer la satisfaction de toutes les parties concernées.
- Fournit un leadership et une orientation professionnelle au personnel moins expérimenté.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in networks in large environment
- Cisco Systems
- Switching (layer 2 and
3) - Spanning‑tree
- Routing
- Firepower Firewalls
- Wireless
- TCP/UDP IP Protocol
- Knowledge of industrial networking an asset
- Knowledge of DMZ
- Switching (layer 2 and
- Experience working with network systems, networking principles, data, voice or video
- Experience working with network software and hardware, data, voice or video
- Experience working with proprietary software and hardware
- Good network performance modeling or benchmarking skills
- Bilingualism:
English and French - Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
- Good leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
- Ability to anticipate problems, resolve ambiguity and take decisive action
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good ability to analyze and solve complex problems using analytical and creative problem‑solving skills for design, creation and testing of networks
- Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems
- Must have a permanent valid Canadian work permit.
- Must be bilingual French / English.
- Ready to work on‑site in Longueuil, Quebec.
