Pratt & Whitney’s Digital Technology department is seeking an experienced senior project manager to lead and oversee complex technology projects from initiation to completion. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are properly scoped, delivered on time and within budget.

• Oversee all aspects of project execution, including planning, budget, resource allocation, execution and delivery.
• Lead project initiation, definition and planning in partnership with the business relationship managers to ensure business value alignment before project execution/delivery begins.
• Define and assess project risks. Drive accountability with risk owners to resolve/mitigate risks to keep project on track.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units and external partners for communicating project progress, risks and issues effectively.
• Lead cross functional teams of developers, architects, analysts and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Manage project budgets and ensure resources are properly planned.
• Utilize both agile and waterfall project management methodologies as needed per project structure dictates.
• Maintain project documentation for completeness and timeliness to support effective scope management, risk management, project status and communication to senior management.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational guidelines and industry best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related technical field with 7+ years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with in an aerospace manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Microsoft Project, etc) and system development lifecycle.
• Solution delivery experience with Agile frameworks like SAFe and Dev Ops

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, daily, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

This position has been designated as ‘onsite’, with regular in person work at our premises.
