What We ExpectThe Payroll Analyst role requires a basic knowledge of payroll and will support the payroll team in day‑to‑day tasks.
Daily Responsibilities- Validate and compile time‑sheet data
- Analyze and resolve time‑sheet related issues
- Respond to inquiries about banks and time‑sheet data
- Coordinate date‑approval changes
- Validate various payroll reports
- Execute bank adjustments
- Update standard procedures
- Collaborate closely with business partners
- Employee inquiry resolution
- Daily proactive interactions with internal customers
- Assist in compiling employee time and payroll data from time‑sheets
- Issue and record adjustments to previous errors
- Maintenance of standard work/procedures
- Report creation and validation
- In‑depth research of escalated issues
- Post‑secondary degree (required)
- 1 to 2 years payroll experience or combination of Payroll, HR, and/or Payroll IT experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Customer service experience
- Self‑starter able to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment
- Strong organization skills
- Team‑player
- Duty may require overtime hours to support payroll production
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential data
- CORE Associate certification within a year of hire
- Work in a French‑speaking environment with strong English for daily documentation and communication
