Lockheed Martin s NSS Program is seeking a talented Software Systems Engineer, Staff with an active Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO location(s).
Our Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) team is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to augment our Agile Team in support of our Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Mission. We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineer to help support these critical efforts, which include development of solutions in support of OPIR sensor data stream processing to be used for missile warning.
As a member of a high-performing team you must be passionate about your trade, focused on mission system quality, and supportive of timely delivery of features and capabilities.
This position involves design, development and maintenance, and testing of the codebase. Challenges will include adapting and testing framework for new interfaces, developing APIs, and developing mission processing applications.

- Experience with one or more of the following:
Java development, Python development, Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment. - Experience developing maintainable code and performing unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Active Secret security clearance is required for consideration.
- Mission Data Processing Experience
- Bachelor s degree in engineering or scientific discipline
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AWS based systems
- Understanding of agile development within a scrum team
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI
- Experience with Compass, Horizon, Nayru, and Astrolabe
- Strong teamwork, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
