JOB DESCRIPTIONLockheed Martin's NSS Program is seeking a talented Software Systems Engineer, Sr. with an active Secret clearance to work from either our Boulder, CO or Longmont, CO location(s).
Our Resilient MEO Missile Warning and Tracking (RMWT) Ground Management and Integration (GMI) team is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to augment our Agile Team in support of our Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Mission. The role involves design, development, maintenance, and testing of the codebase, adapting and testing frameworks for new interfaces, developing APIs, and building mission processing applications for missile warning.

- Design, develop, maintain, and test software solutions for OPIR sensor data stream processing.
- Adapt and test frameworks for new interfaces.
- Develop APIs and mission processing applications.
- Support timely delivery of features and capabilities while ensuring mission system quality.
- Java development experience
- Python development experience
- Linux OS background/experience developing in a Linux environment
- Experience developing maintainable code and performing unit, integration, and regression testing
- An active Secret clearance is required for consideration
- Mission Data Processing Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering or scientific discipline
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AWS based systems
- Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, etc.
- Experience with Compass, Horizon, Nayru, and Astrolabe
- Strong teamwork skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

NATIONAL PAY STATEMENTThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC is $93,200–$164,450. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
BEFOREPREMIUM PAY STATEMENT
This position is incentive plan eligible.

PREMIUM PAY STATEMENTThe annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $107,300–$185,840. For states not referenced above, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
