- Inspect and monitor treatment processes, equipment, and plant systems daily.
- Collect samples and perform laboratory testing to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and interpret SCADA data, gauges, meters, and control panels.
- Adjust treatment processes based on lab results and operational data.
- Operate heavy equipment including front-end loaders and skid steers.
- Calibrate laboratory and online instrumentation to maintain accurate data.
- Perform maintenance and basic equipment repairs.
- Complete accurate documentation, work orders, and daily operational logs.
- Participate in biosolids processing and plant optimization efforts.
- Respond to emergencies and support rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call schedules.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Operator D:
License required or ability to obtain within 1 year. - Operator C:
Colorado Wastewater Plant Operator License C required at hire. - Operator B:
Colorado Wastewater Plant Operator License B required at hire. - Operator A:
Colorado Wastewater Plant Operator License A required at hire.
