Pay Range: $110K ($52/HR)
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Manager to lead facility and equipment maintenance for our Longmont manufacturing and R&D operations. This is a critical, hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient production of industrial gases while supporting ISO quality and safety standards.
This position offers long‑term stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact as you step into a role vacated due to retirement.
Key Responsibilities- Own and manage the CMMS, including preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation
- Oversee maintenance of facility, manufacturing, and R&D equipment
, ensuring accuracy of records and compliance - Lead continuous improvement, repair, and reliability projects in partnership with Corporate Engineering
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and external service providers (no direct reports)
- Plan and monitor maintenance inventory; approve parts, tools, and service purchases
- Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and technical documentation
- Actively participate in safety programs, including audits, toolbox talks, and Emergency Response Team activities
- Support ISO 9001 and other quality management system requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience managing a CMMS for preventive maintenance, scheduling, and reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and overseeing third‑party maintenance and repair work
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, repairs, hydraulics, HVAC, and facility infrastructure
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities across multiple departments
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and general ISO standards
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
- Stable, long‑term role created by planned retirement
- High level of independence and ownership —you determine when and how contractors are engaged
- Approximately 50% hands‑on preventive maintenance

- Work in a technically advanced manufacturing and R&D environment
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 – $50.00/hr.
