This role is onsite (not a remote internship) in Colorado and housing is not provided. As such, candidates local to the state or who list they have housing available in Colorado will be considered first.

Location: 1601 Dry Creek Dr, Longmont, CO 80503
This position will support our Next Gen Technical Project Management Operations team. This team has been awarded a new contract to help modernize rural PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points‑911 Call Centers). We’d like our intern to help ramp up our speed and find process improvement efficiencies. You’ll also gain experience in deployment of our 911 call routing service.

- Analyze current project management processes and suggest process improvements to increase speed of deployment.
- Support full time staff working a specific set of 911 deployment projects by assisting with end user data collection, performing data comparisons, quality review checks, creation of test plans, end user test case execution, and test case documentation.
- Assist Project Managers with day‑to‑day project activities, including tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Help maintain project plans, schedules, and task lists using approved project management tools or spreadsheets.
- Attend project meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items as assigned.
- Create, organize, and maintain project documentation and files to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and easy to locate.
- Assist with preparing status updates, reports, and basic presentations for project stakeholders.
- Support communication between project team members, helping ensure updates, changes, and next steps are clearly documented and shared.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams (e.g., Operations, Technology, Customer Experience) to gather information or confirm task completion.
- Help track project progress against timelines and escalate potential issues or delays to the Project Manager.
- Perform basic quality checks on deliverables to ensure completeness and alignment with project requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline documentation or coordination processes.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Internship, academic, volunteer, or campus leadership experience involving coordination, scheduling, or documentation is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and adaptability skills.
- Interest in learning end to end telecom 911 call flows.
- Passion for learning and a strong interest in supporting Intrado’s mission.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.
- Interest in learning project management tools.
- Eagerness to learn and take direction.
