Endoscopy RN PRN

Job Description

The PRN Endoscopy RN will perform the duties necessary to coordinate the care of the patients undergoing special procedures such as colonoscopy, esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), or Cardiac Stress Testing as part of the Endoscopy Program at Salud Family Health Centers. Competencies include pre‑procedural, procedural, and post‑procedural care of the endoscopy patient, patient teaching, and advocacy. The Endoscopy RN approaches his/her tasks in a team‑based fashion that supports patients and their families in self‑management, self‑efficacy, and behavior change.

Works under the clinical supervision of the Site Proceduralist and the Special Procedures Program Manager.

• Starting wage range is $32.33 - $37.18 per hour
• PRN - Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 am - 4 pm - As needed

• At least one year of experience working as a nurse in a primary care setting, endoscopy suite, or hospital setting is required
• Experience with patient navigation in a cancer screening program is preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
• Training and ability to administer moderate sedation is preferred

• Current unrestricted Colorado Nursing
