Location: Peaks Care Center —
Department: Quality Care Rehab —
Compensation: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care Execution:
    Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, execute therapeutic plans to help patients. This includes teaching use of adaptive equipment, guiding exercises, and engaging patients in activities essential to recovery.
  • Activity and Program Planning:
    Contribute to the planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to each patient’s needs and interests, applying creative and practical approaches aligned with the therapist’s goals.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Regularly monitor and document patient progress, observing changes in performance and behavior, reporting observations to the therapist, and adjusting interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Patient and Family

    Education:

    Educate patients and families about the therapy process, adaptive equipment, and home modifications. Provide clear instructions and support to facilitate ongoing practice at home, which is vital to long‑term recovery and independence.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current license or certification in the state of practice
