We are looking for a Robotics Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background, systems engineer or system integration engineer who is enthusiastic to discover and implement solutions on our Roca Robotics platforms. As a Robotics Engineer, you will have an exciting opportunity to advance our card sorting robotic platforms. Your contributions will help shape the future of our robots.

If you are a Robotics Engineer with experience in mechanical design, coding and electronics, and you are genuinely excited to build sorting robots that solve problems for your customers, then TCGplayer is the right place for you.

• Play a key role in designing, developing and bringing to market innovative robotic sorting solutions.
• Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, customer support teams to ensure we are building the best solutions for our customers.
• You will help to improve current products and help define future products.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience in robotics or complex systems.
• Expertise in a 3D CAD software (Solidworks or similar)
• Expertise with electro‑mechanical components
• Expertise with assembling and testing prototypes
• Experience with bill of materials
• Experience working with Python and shell scripting
• Experience working with Linux systems
• Experience with design for manufacturing

• Experience with 3D Printing and GCode
• Interest and experience within the hobby gaming industry and collectable cards
• Experience working with cameras and optics
• Experience with soldering
• Experience deploying robotics and complex systems in the real world

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected in the range below.

$105,000 - $115,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
