Hattig CPA, a full-service public accounting firm located in Longmont, CO, provides a full spectrum of tax and accounting services to privately held businesses and high net worth individuals. We are currently seeking a self-motivated, hands‑on tax professional with 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience to manage tax and accounting engagements for a diverse roster of clients.

• Prepare tax returns including complex federal, multi-state and local individual, trust, partnership, and S & C Corporate income returns
• Lead engagements throughout all phases of tax and accounting including research, projections, planning and client consulting
• Build and manage professional client relationships

• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience including experience preparing business tax returns
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of tax law, business and individual accounting and best practices
• Strong communication, organizational, research, analytical, problem‑solving, and PC skills including Microsoft Office, Quick Books Desktop and Quick Books Online and tax software proficiency (Lacerte software proficiency preferred)
• Ability to see the big picture and juggle priorities
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, desire to learn and a passion to service clients
