Maintenance Technician; Hotel​/Resort

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel and resort facilities, providing a safe, comfortable, and visually appealing environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.

Day Shift - Thurs-Mon 8:30-5:00

Night Shift - Fri-Tues 2:00-10:30

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of hotel and resort facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Respond promptly to work orders and guest requests to address maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations.

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility for on-call or emergency situations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
